House Dems Nominate Alan Patricof to MCC Board?
Posted by Sheila Herrling at 04:24 PM
Word on the streets is that House Dems have submitted the nomination of Alan Patricof to the White House to fill one of two vacant seats on the MCC Board. Patricof is co-founder of Apax Partners, a venture capital corporation, and is a regular blogger on The Huffington Post.
Supposedly, the House Repubs also have a candidate circulating. I'll keep you posted, or let me know what you know!
Filling these two vacant seats would complete the Board, as envisioned in the Millennium Challenge Act os 2003 -- 5 heads of government agencies and 4 non-governmental appointments nominated by the majority and minority leaders of the House and Senate.
