There is absolutely nothing wrong with pre-dispersal as long as the KIVA funds, once raised, are still entrepreneur-specific. KIVA is a great idea and more effective than numbers of international organizations where a large percentage of money raised goes to overhead.

My disappointment with KIVA has grown since I first posted last month. KIVA’s Customer Services man, Gerard, emailed to me saying “Hello Lorna,
It would be best if we called you. If you can let us know what your number is
and what time works, we can set that up.
Best wishes,
Gerard Niemira
Customer Service Manager”
I’ve provided no less than 6 days when a call from KIVA’s management would be convenient, and I’ve heard nothing from them. I’m feeling totally scammed at this point. Sadly, there is noplace within the KIVA site to deal with this other than emails to Gerard who doesn’t respond. I don’t like airing things publicly, but at this point KIVA’s lack of response has left me with this option. Please, KIVA, let’s talk. I’m unhappy and you don’t want me on your bad side.
